CAP Panels: Chapter Education

As a benefit to CMAA chapters, The Club Foundation has created a program designed to showcase CAP Partners as experts in their respective fields and provide chapters with enhanced educational opportunities for their members. There are currently three CAP Panels – Trends,Technology and Sustainability – in existence. These panels have presented interactive roundtable sessions to much success.

The Club Foundation funds 80 percent of the panel program, with the chapter only paying the expenses of one of the industry experts in attendance. Interested in bringing a CAP panel to your chapter? Contact Michele Klecha or Seth Gregg for more information or to make arrangements for this educational opportunity.

Touring Partner Panels

Three panels comprised of leading experts are available to speak at your chapter, courtesy of The Club Foundation. Each panel is 90 minutes long and is formatted to encourage audience participation. We are currently scheduling through 2017 and will do our best to accommodate any opportunity that anticipates an audience of 50 or more. Current topics include:

Trends – What’s new and now. Join our panelist in a conversation about current trends in key business categories that are critical to club managers. Explore how changing demographics and outside influences will affect your club's procurement; health, wellness and fitness; capital improvement; equipment financing; and accounting and finance. Come prepared to take a seat at the table and share your observations, questions and experience.

Technology – Change is good when you know what’s coming. Can outstanding companies and clubs fail “by doing everything right”? The truth is that they often do by ignoring new technologies and innovations. Our panel will discuss technical advancements, from their respective industries, that are helping clubs innovate, differentiate, reduce cost and increase revenue. Please come prepared to discuss the innovations your club has embraced and those you are considering.

Sustainability – Greening your clubhouse, golf course and everything in between. We have all heard “Think Globally; Act Locally” but in truth, sustainability is easier than you think. Small changes can deliver big results - socially, environmentally, and economically. Our experts will provide guidance on clubhouse and golf course renovations, compliance and risk management to help you bridge the gap between good intentions and results.
